It could have been the first place. Now we’re stuck with “only” the silver medal. But I have faith in this team. They’re young, they’ll be together for years to come and I know that they can and they WILL bring more great moments to all of us. And between us, I prefer the design of this one that what the Spanish team got:

The Hellenic basketball TEAM won the US! I don’t want to say too much, the final is coming soon, just to express (once more!) my gratitude to this wonderful team that lifts 10 million Greeks (and almost as many living outside of Greece!) to the 7th heaven and higher. Now let’s go for the cup!

As a side note, one of the best things I read these days was Jeff Taylor’s comments on the FIBA website about the reasons for their loss. Not everything is numbers guys
